What is your business about?

llallaloves was founded in 2020 when I was in polytechnic. I've always wanted to start my own business and this was a great way to unleash the creative and entrepreneurial side of me! I handcraft resin goods such as Crocs Jibbitz and keychains, along with other beaded items!

What made you decide to start your business?

I wanted to do something different rather than just part-time jobs, and I have always wanted autonomy in my own business. The pandemic also spurred me on to start a passion project as I was stuck at home with little to do. Since I already had experience in resin specifically, it was only natural for me to try my hand at not only crafting for myself, but sharing them with others!

How has your SEM Experience been? 

SEM has truly helped me a lot in expanding the reach of my small business! It is a great way for aspiring entrepreneurs to introduce their brand to the student body in a no-frills manner. The side income is great for a student and being able to stock up every now and then with the amazing support of the SEM team keeps me going. I love how I'm able to continue running my small business amidst my busy schedule!
